Our approach to Sustainability
1. Grazing Rotation for Happy Cows and Healthy Pastures
Our young cows graze freely on lush, nutrient-rich pastures that are carefully managed using a rotational grazing system. By rotating grazing areas, we maintain the health of our soil, encourage biodiversity, and ensure our cows always have access to the best natural forage.
2. Powered by the Sun
Our farm runs on renewable energy, thanks to solar panels installed on-site. By harnessing the power of the sun, we significantly reduce our carbon footprint and take one more step toward a greener future.
3. Robots, Sustainable Machinery
To ensure we are being sustainable at every opportunity we now use robots to clean the barns, this reduces the need for tractors when it comes to cleaning out the cows. the robots are battery powered and charged using the solar power.
4. No Feed Additives, Just Natural Nutrition
We believe in keeping things simple and natural. Our cows are fed on fresh pasture and high-quality forage, with no additives. This approach not only supports the health of our animals but also ensures pure, natural milk for our customers.
5. Reusable Glass Bottles
To reduce single-use plastics, we’ve embraced reusable glass bottles. Customers can return their empty bottles, which we clean and reuse, creating a sustainable cycle that cuts down on waste.
6. Zero Miles Milk
We’re proud to offer zero miles milk—from udder to vending machine, our milk never travels far. By keeping everything on-site, we minimise transportation emissions while delivering the freshest possible product to our community.
